restup 1.0 · iphone + apple watch

Most questions about RestUp have short answers — it's a quiet app by design. Here are the common ones; for anything else, write to us.

Getting started

Wear your Apple Watch to sleep tonight. When you first open RestUp, grant it permission to read from Apple Health — that's all the setup there is. Your first reading arrives with your first sunrise: a readiness score out of 100, and what it means for your day.

No reading this morning?

RestUp can only read what your watch recorded. Check that sleep tracking is on for your watch, that it was worn overnight and charged, and that RestUp has Health permissions (Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → RestUp). Nights synced late usually appear after opening the app once. You can also add or edit a night manually.

Health data & permissions

RestUp reads sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, and workouts from Apple Health — read-only, it never writes to or changes your health records. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.

Subscriptions & refunds

The first week is free — nothing is charged until day eight. RestUp Plus is billed through your App Store account and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings; refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

Your data

There's no account and nothing stored on our servers — your data lives on your device. Delete it at any time in the app's settings, or by deleting the app. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
